Later when a list is released online rating the Rockport girls’ appearances and more Vivian secretly leaves notebooks of Moxie containing feminism and fairness in the girl’s bathroom which spreads fast leading Vivian to write more until her secret starts to conflict her relationship with her mother and best friend.

3. Moana (2016)
This two thousand and sixteen Disney animation follows Moana, a chiefs daughter banned from the ocean by her father, however when her island starts dying and there is no fish within the ocean reef her grandmother informs Moana of her ancestors who were voyagers before settling on the island. Her grandmother also explains the legend of Maui stealing the heart of Te Fiti is true and in order to save her people and her island she must sail Maui across the sea to return the stone to Te Fiti. The film proudly follows self-worth, feminism and friendship.

4. Legally Blond (2001)
Elle Woods a fashionable sorority queen who has her heart broken by her boyfriend Warner Huntington III, breaking up with her to perdue a career in law. Determined to win him back, Ellie studies hard and gains admission to Harvard Law School. However, upon her arrival she learns that Warner is now engaged to another woman, Vivian Kensington. Despite facing Scepticism and prejudice due to her appearance and background, Elle proves her intelligence and capability, ultimately excelling in her studies and legal practice. 5. Little Woman (2019)
The two thousand and nineteen version of Little Woman loosely follows the plot of the original book with four sisters Jo, Meg, Amy, and Beth during 1868 with Jo as a teacher in New York, Meg married raising her family, Amy in Paris with her Aunt, and Beth and home battling an illness. Flashbacks are constant throughout the film before each sister’s despatcher of growing up during the American Civil War with their father fighting in the War. The film provides scenes of childhood, sisterhood, and loyalty.

6. The Help (2011)
This film is set in the early nineteen sixties in Jackson, Mississippi exploring the lives of black African woman working as maid for white households. The storyline follows the racism and extortion the woman faced during this time and soon they tell their story with the help of Skeeter and aspiring writer. The film is a powerful example of how black people were treated during this time and demonstrates their bravery moving toward a better life for their people.

7. Hidden Figures (2016)
This film tells the story of three black African American woman at NASA with mathematic skills in which helped launch John Glenn into orbit however living in the ninety sixties where racism between black and white people is high and feminism still rising, they experience this racism and sexism and are forced to further prove themselves in the industry.

8. Suffragette (2015)
This film is a historical period drama following the early times of feminism in the United Kingdom. A laundry worker, Maud Watts is caught up in one of the protests which includes her work mate Violet Miller. Maud secretly attends a rally to hear Pankhurst speak, Muad is detained and is escorted home by the police resulting in her husband throwing her out and forbids her from seeing her soon, then soon giving the child up for adoption. After being fired and past her breaking point Muad continues raising avec with cutting telephone wires and blowing up telephone boxes leading to imprisonment again. Once released Muad and a fellow Suffragette Emily Davison attend the Derby with King George V present, Maud is witness to Emily enter the track and trampled to death. Emily’s funeral was reported around the world with woman’s right to vote gained for certain woman over thirty in nineteen eighteen. This film is properly one of or if not the most important story woman has to tell, the story of the beginning.

9. Mulan (1998)
This Disney animated film is set China with Mulan a young woman with hopes to bring honour to her family is arranged to meet a matchmaker but is deemed ungraceful. After the Huns invade China Mulan’s elderly father is conscripted. Mulan tries to convince her father to not go however believing it is his duty he dismisses her therefore Mulan makes the ultimate decision to go in his place under the disguises of a man. Once a trained as a solider they march a mountain pass were they are ambushed by the Hans, the other soldiers find out Mulan’s true identity when her wound is bandaged, Her life is spared and is instead she is expelled from the army. Mulan then travels to the Imperial City where she alone defeats Shan Yu.

10. The Hunger Games (2012)
Katniss Everdeen is from distract twelve and attends the seventy-fourth hunger games along with her younger sister Primrose, who is selected for that year, knowing it’s a death sentence Katniss volunteers in her place and her partner Peeta Mellark is chosen. Together along with their mentor Maymitch Abernathy they gain sponsors and when the games begin Katniss survival instincts to stay alive are tested. Katniss is then witness to Rue’s death, comforting her with song, then decorating her body with flowers, this action sparking a riot in district eleven. Soon the last two contestants remaining are Katniss and Peeta, but with only one winner aloud they both agree to eat poisons berries however before this action it is announced they are both winners and return home to district twelve.
